algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys,
I have a bunch of buildings that I need to extrude on top of an undulating surface. Problem I'm having is that when I project the building footprints on to the undulating mesh and extrude them twenty feet, they're not flat from the top and the volumes are not closed. I can't cap them either. Can anyone please help me out with this. The rhino file is attached below.

Raise the footprint 20 feet above the mesh, then project the footprints onto the mesh, loft both sets of curves, and then cap the loft. This gives you a planar top that can be capped, as well as matching the undulation of the surface you're working with.
Hey Daniel,
Thanks for getting back to me.I already tried that method earlier, however that puts all the buildings at the same height from the top. I need that their heights should vary based on the surface topography.
Hey Michael,
Almost there with the definition but it doesn't seem to be lofting. Could you please take a look at the grasshopper file.
