Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I made a tower and did some things on it, but now I would like to move the floors exponentially. What I'm looking for is that the first floor stays where it is, but that the next one is moved a little bit and the third one a little bit more, so that the facade of the tower will look like an exponential curve.

I tried to do it: I used a move-command and as a vector I chose for the x-component 10^x and for the y and z: zero. But it moves the whole tower, not floor by floor. I tried to use a series component but that failed.

I attached my rhino and grasshopper file.

Thanks in advance

Is it this, you are after?

Hello Lien,

I believe this should work:

The thing is, you need to create as many vectors as the floors (that's why the list length goes into the series count input).

ps. I forgot to erase the expression from the Z input of [Vec] but it doesn't change anything anyway...

Indeed! Thank you very much!
