Hi Sarah,
here is my attempt at that. I read it's is the voronoi diagram of the face-centered cubic sphere-packing, and that's what I worked with. I cull the outer cells afterward, which isn't a great solution for getting rid of some open breps I admit. Let's see who jumps in:)

You're too kind Sarah, but I'm glad you like it. I wanted to inform you that Dale Fugier's 'Polyhedron' plug in can generate a rhombic dodecahedron too.
If you put its 'unit edge length' into the function evaluation in the attached definition this may be a cleaner approach than what I did before. I cannot explain why there's a deviation from the size you set, to what the plug in puts out though...

That's great
