algorithmic modeling for Rhino
If you are using GH version 0.9.0076 then you can use the Graft facility on the entwine component to maintain previous structure.
Sorry Danny, I don't get it. Isn't the block you encircled the same as mine in the 2nd picture?
What I am trying to do is this:
I would like to create 3 trees. Each with A/B/C as branches (see doodle bottom right corner). I'd like to have it working to create X trees.
As you can see, this doesnt work with flatten inputs: I get "Voorkant" in the first branch, "Achterkant" in the second and "Punten" in the thrid.
Nikos, your solution is most usefull for me in this case. Thanks! I now have an other problem that I will post under a different topic name. Thanks all for your replies!!
It appears you are not using version 0.9.0076 so this will be unavailable
Hello to have a data tree like the one you hand sketched, you will also need flip matrix.
and the latest version to take advantage of the graft option in entwine component
cheers
alex
edit
if using older version you can partition the tree (easy only because in this case for all branches 3 items are needed
