Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I'm trying to construct a mesh from sets of points. This works, in that it produces the mesh, but it also throws this error:

1. Solution exception:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Am I doing something wrong here with data structures?

Thanks

Hi Harrison,

Can you check that all the lists you are feeding into [ConMesh] Vertices have 3 points in them?

oh - upon further inspection some of the sets of three have null entries for one or two points. Gotta figure out how to get rid of those, I guess...

Hello

there is a replace Nulls component for that. you can find it in tab set/list/replace nulls

cheers

alex

Hello

I believe you have to go back to your script and see where the nulls originate from and re-examine this component. On the other hand if you have checked your final mesh and there are no faces missing then you could just ignore the warning.
