algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello community
I'm new to grasshopper.
Can someone help me?
I have to join 2 curve into one. The curve that i join is connected to a surface loft.
The objective is to move the curve and the lofted surfaces follow along the points control (F10)
Thank you,
FV

Hi, I looked to your post and definition, and i think you are made some confusion. [ you are trying to join edges of deconstructed brep with one surface [ loft ] , with join curves component ] and it makes no sense. Could you be more precise in what kind of design do you want to obtain? [ Post your .3dm file ]
Moved from FAQ into the Discussion forum.
Joaquim Filipe Reis,
Sorry for the delay and thank you for your reply.
I'm trying to obtain the edge joined by two surfaces that were loft, so that i can move the edge and the surfaces follow that movement together.
Hi Francisco, Post your .3dm and .Gh file actualized to I have a look.
Here are my home work files
Well i saw the definition, and for me is a great script to learn some steps.
But i think that it's a little "advanced" for me for the moment.
I will try to understand how can i combine the two scripts, and then i will reply to you.
OK for you?
By the way i saw this video, an it's something like this. But i didn't offset the curves.

But in my case the structure is a little bit confuse
Thank you.
Sure, I looked to your .3dm i suggest this approach. In this case we are rebuilding the initial profile curve [ nº1 ] with an attraction, to execute loft operation with curve [ nº2 ] , I suggest we use mesh loft, because it is much more simple to thickens.[The last component it is wbThicken, from WeaverBird developed by Giulio Piacentino and it is available here : http://www.giuliopiacentino.com/weaverbird/ ] Otherwise it is possible to offset surface and after loft boundaries to have a closed brep. but it is a little more tricky, because your initial profile curve are not coplanar.
