algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have encountered a problem with my perpendicular mullion definition. I cannot join the curves b/c I have not found a solution to join my two data paths. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hello

you will need the merge component from tab sets/tree. i noticed that you used flip matrix to organize the starting and ending point in data tree structure. you can do that with graft. after you have each line of the four lines of the rectangles organized in data trees you can merge them to have a data tree with each branch containing the four lines of the mullions. then you can use join curves etc.

Alex,

This makes perfect sense. I overlooked the simplify option at first but now realize now that it is essential to construct the proper data tree. Thank you for spreading the knowledge!

Erik

Exactly!

no problem :-)
