Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

So I have been working on this script for my professor. I am starting with a polygon. Extracting its edge points to move them separately towards and away from the center. I managed to get those points in the right order no what how many edges the polygon has. So point #0 is always to the right ... etc.

The part that I am having diffeculty with is the points that are being formed from the center point of each of the polygon edges. Those points keep shifting their order because the way the polygon rotates when the points are done.

Is there a way to fix that.

Check the grasshopper script and point lists to the right to see what I mean. I have attached pictures and the definition

Hi Mohanned,

you have a lot of duplicated components. I'm a bit confused as to what the bottom 10 sliders are supposed to do. For some reason if I move them away from 0.0, there's a sudden change in the output. Can you perhaps upload a sketch of how the variables in your sliders are supposed to affect the shape?
