Suggestions on reciprocal pattern

Hi all,

I want to apply this kind of reciprocal pattern with straight lines on a double curved surfaces. By what way, all the nodes as points can be guaranteed to be on the straight lines.

I would like to do the similar thing with this project, but not with planar panels, with rectangular cross section elements.
