algorithmic modeling for Rhino

when i try to subdivide a surface that comes from offsetting the perimeter of another surface, the resultant points are tilted (vertically to the edges of the initial surface). How can i make the subdivision points of the second surface to follow the edges and not tilted?

these are the subdivision points of the initial surface

and these are the subdivision points of the offsetted surface

and this is the part of the ghx

idtasos,

Extract the corner verticies of your offset curve and use [Srf4Pt]. That should work.

The surface you are creating from [Planar] is actually a trimmed surface with UVs oriented, in general, orthographically with the World XY plane.
thanks! it worked just fine. I didn't know that a planar surface doesn't have properly oriented UVs (parallel to the edges), strange...
