algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I use GH for the purpose of Semi-BIM to fabricate architectural details.
for some scripts I must everytime reset the previous inputs, before I pick new ones.
in this case one feature would be very helpful...
- If I do double click or triple click on geometry components. (ex. Point, Curve, Brep, ...)
- then GH will do 'clear the values' in that component.
how you guys think about this idea?
Thanks!

Why?
Normally a double click causes something positive to happen. To change this to a Clear Values I believe is the opposite of intuitive.
At present do you Right Click and select "Clear Values" then Right Click and select "Set one/multiple Whatever"?
oh... double click of left button could do 'set objects' and double click of right button 'clear values' may be better idea!
Why do you actually have to clear them before getting new ones? The normal behaviour is to wipe the previous set clean automatically during the process of picking new ones.
if script works with a combination of inputs, then GH will calculate everytime, when I change input(s). It cause sometimes fatal error or long time for calculation.
I can avoid that, If I use Dam Component. but it is sometimes not easy.
other way, I can first disable solver and pick new ones and enable GH again, but..
I see... I'm with you now. To speed up the work flow I would either approach it by:
1) Right click - Select "Enable" Component
2) Set each Parameter
3) Right Click - Select "Enable" Component
Or by:
Assigning a Shortcut key to Disable Solver something like F12 that you can hit every time.
Go to file>Preferences>Interface>Shortcuts
Scroll down to Solution
Select Disable Solver
Hit Enter
Assign Key F12
Hit Enter
