HOW TO INTERPOLATE A *.DAT FILE IN TO A CURVE

HI Guys

I am pretty new in Grasshopper and I am trying to interpolate a list X,Y coordinates coming form a external * .DAT file in order to create a curve but it doesn't work

the problem is that the list of values generated by the *.DAT file is not recognized as XY coordinated but just like text i guess, as a result I am not able to interpolate the curve

Can anyone help me ?

If the date is like airfoil dat with a comment in first line followed by x and y so this could work

the file extension is not terribly relevant. The only thing that matters here is that this is an ascii file that we can parse. That looks like tab separated data. Split each line with Text Split. Then build points using Numbers To Points with the mask set to XY.
