Med Mart 2: Panel Texture and Geometry

The last post we shared look at how we used Grasshopper to layout panels for the facade of the Cleveland Medical Mart.  This post looks at the geometry and texture of those panels.  The beauty of using Grasshopper was that we were able to explore lots of iterations, almost too many.  The interesting thing this does is to initially focus the design discussions on what works rather than which iteration is someone's favorite.  Eventually we had to make a choice, but that choice was informed by our developing concept and understanding of the panel constraints.

Follow the link for more info on where we ended up.

Cheers,

Scott
