WISH: Document specific settings on the Canvas

Hi David,

I only have one in mind at the moment: Plane Radius

Some of my projects are ships in mm which are in the order of 220,000 units long. Others are in meters and are only 10s of units. Is there or can there be a way of dropping a param-ish  component onto the canvas for special cases that can override the view menu setting.

Interesting idea to have an object on the canvas that control certain (all?) document settings. Definitely a lot of mileage in this approach.
